It seems having both me and the person I was originally playing with restart our steam clients helped out, but it seems now I have to restart Steam before I play any Saints Row IV Co-Op. If he drops out of the game, he can't hop back in until we've both closed SRIV, exited Steam, then restarted it.
We are aware of a number of issues occurring with the SRIV Re-Elected upgrades on PC - we are actively investigating the following: Saves not working - Fixed. crashing/not starting on Epic and Steam. SRIV Legacy Branch pulling the wrong build on Steam - this should now be fixed.
If your gamepad disconnects it could crash the game because of a bug on how the game handles gamepads. With the newest Nucleus Co-op you can access your saves per instance via the Nucleus Co-op UI after the first launch, click game options/open user profile save path in the UI.
